Mariama Alcaňtara
Mariama Alcântara has earned recognition for her artistry as a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician. Her debut album Brazilian Landscapes: Music for Solo Violin from Brazil. An avid chamber musician, Mariama is the second violin of the Artisan Quartet, and has collaborated with the Aizuri Quartet, Dali Quartet and has been a guest artist with the Allenspark Chamber Music Festival.

Samantha Washecka
Samantha Washecka is currently a sophomore at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, pursuing her bachelor’s degree. This past summer, she attended the Aspen Music Festival and performed with the Aspen Festival Orchestra as a recipient of a fellowship. She has also participated in other festivals such as the National Youth Orchestra and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute.

Dongsub "Alex" Jeoung
Alex is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Violin Performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studies under the guidance of the renowned violinist Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. Alex has had the honor of appearing as a soloist with both the Austin Civic Orchestra and the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra.

Leah Nelson
An engaging performer and inspired educator, Leah Nelson has become a highly sought-after violist. As a chamber musician she performs and collaborates regularly throughout the Austin area and was a founding member of the Left Coast String Quartet and Felix Quartet.

Tim Washeka
Co-founder and Co-director of the Bluebonnet Suzuki Studio, Tim Washecka is an active performer and pedagogue in the Central Texas area. As a violinist, Tim studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and earned degrees in violin and viola performance from the University of Houston.

Anna Park
Anna Park is currently the Assistant Principal cellist of the Austin Symphony. A highly sought after orchestral and chamber musician, Anna has performed with a variety of ensembles such as the Houston Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, International Contemporary Ensemble, and the Artosphere Festival Orchestra.

Daniel Kopp
Daniel Kopp, co-founder and artistic director of Austin Camerata, is a dedicated cellist and educator in Austin, Texas. An avid chamber musician, he has performed across the U.S. at distinguished festivals including Tanglewood, Kneisel Hall, Aspen, and Colorado College.
